The Last 16 line-up has begun to take shape at the Czech Darts Open with Jermaine Wattimena and Danny Noppert through to the final day of action.
Wattimena coasted past Jonny Clayton in a 6-2 victory over 'The Ferret' where he didn't have to be at his best. This was due to him punishing only 2/12 on the doubles from his opponent meaning it was close but Clayton just had a poor day on the doubles.
It was shown with Wattimena streaking into a 2-0 lead with Clayton at 0/7 on his doubles at this point as well as at 4-1 down with it being just 1/10 on the doubles and from there the Welshman could only claim one more leg with 'Machine Gun' cruising to an easy victory.
Noppert on the other hand had to come through a tense encounter with Darren Webster where he claimed a 6-4 win in the end.
'Noppie' started the better of the pair going 2-0 up with a 104 checkout with Webster though from there reducing the deficit to 3-2.
He then put it onto level terms at 3-3 and Noppert missed darts in the requisite leg and Webster pounced to go 4-3 up.
Noppert squared it up though and Webster in the following leg thought he'd claimed the leg but he hadn't and the Dutchman hit straight back hitting 81 before claiming the tie.
