Wattimena on tie with Kenny or Telnekes at World Championship: "I don't care who I have to play"

Jermaine Wattimena has to wait a while to see who will be his opponent at the upcoming World Championship.

The Dutchman, seeded 24th, will not take part in the first round and will then meet the winner of the game between Nick Kenny and Derk Telnekes.

"Actually, I don't care who I have to play at the World Championship, if you want to get far you have to be able to beat everyone. I am confident, the last few days I have been training very hard through online matches against Chris Dobey ", Wattimena said on RTL 7.

Wattimena has not had his best year, certainly not in terms of results. "That is indeed true. On the other hand, I have certainly always played well on the stage matches. Unfortunately I often had an opponent who just had a great day and threw high averages."
