For Jermaine Wattimena, his form has slightly dipped so far this year but in an interview during the Coronavirus break, he said his goal is to recapture that when the action returns after the pandemic concludes.

“In recent weeks I have actually taken it easy, only since last week I have been practicing hard again. On average I now practice about five days a week," Wattimena told RTL7 Darts .

Wattimena performed excellently last year, but he has yet to kick on so far before the break due to Coronavirus. “I actually have no idea what that is about. I still think I am playing well. Oh well, sometimes you have those periods in your career that the results are a bit less, but I am confident that my form will start again soon. ”

The Machine Gun is currently outside the top 20 of the world rankings . “My goal is to be in the top 16 by the end of the year, which is very realistic. In addition, I also want to get far at the World Championship. In recent years I have played well against Gary Anderson and Luke Humphries, but I have still lost a lot."
