It is time for the final World Series of Darts tournaments of the year with the
New Zealand Darts Masters set to take place between 14-15 August and will see the action head to Auckland for the first of two events with the second taking in Wollongong in Australia.
Luke Littler won the events last year, but he stuck to his promise to not play this year. Him and Luke Humphries said the same and for the Nuke, it is a trip to Universal Studios instead.
But for other top stars, they head Down Under with more of a mix and match field. Gian van Veen leads the way in terms of top seeds ahead of Gerwyn Price and Stephen Bunting. James Wade continues his run as a seed on the
World Series, as does Jonny Clayton and Josh Rock returns. Ross Smith gets a long awaited main debut, while Damon Heta as ever is involved as part of the main eight over being a home hope.
Those home hopes which would've been Heta once upon a time are led by Adam Leek, who is currently the only other PDC Tour Card holder. Simon Whitlock won the ANZ Premier League and so qualifies through that. While there are spots in Auckland for some World Series staples including Ben Robb, Jonny Tata, Mark Cleaver, Kayden Milne, Haupai Puha and Raymond Smith through various qualifiers.
