It has been a record breaking year on all fronts when it comes to PDC Q-School with a record number of entries in both Wigan and Hildesheim.
Among the contingent attempting to get through is a large record breaking BDO presence which will see 30 players enter from the last BDO World Championship.
We take a look at the players though who will not be playing in the event. Adam Smith-Neale is the first one.
Smith-Neale has appeared at
Q-School a number of times but in a statement he released on
Twitter he said that for reasons he cannot discuss he will not be involved this time around but intends to enter next year.
Gary Stone is another player who has previously entered Q-School and won a Tour Card back in 2014 but he has decided against it this time around as well. Leighton Bennett is too young to enter.
Martin Adams, Ross Montgomery and Paul Hogan are three players in particular who have never entered Q-School and likely never will. Justin Thompson, Joe Chaney and David Cameron also have decided not to make the trip over.
