Darts statistician Christopher Kempf has compiled a list of players who this season have thrown the most three-dart finishes.
They are three dart because they range from 99 and 101 to 170 and they are included in this ranking. A 100 checkout was not included which is because this checkout is often a two dart finish with triple 20, double 20 usually the intended route.
Glen Durrant and Gerwyn Price head up the list as the players who have most often thrown a three-dart finish with them hitting it 138 times each.
Peter Wright with 127 and James Wade with 125 follow in third and fourth place respectively. Michael van Gerwen despite his known prowess in hitting clutch finishes only came just behind with 118.
Van Gerwen is in front as a result of Michael Smith (116), Rob Cross (107), Krzysztof Ratajski (106) and Ian White (102).
