The bar has been set high already at the
European Darts Open in Leverkusen with
Luke Woodhouse and Darren Penhall making their way through to the second round with superb displays.
Woodhouse produced a display which he may need against Gerwyn Price in the opener breezing past Mickey Mansell 6-0.
All with a personal best average of 109.98 with 6/7 on the doubles with Mansell hitting a 94 average himself but only being restricted to two darts at double as was the dominance of the Bewdley thrower.
As was Penhall who saw off Luc Peters also in a whitewash win and now recent first time
European Tour winner, Luke Humphries awaits.
He hit a 100 average in seeing off Peters with two 180's, a highest checkout of 138 and 50% on the doubles.
A player who didn't use his Tour Card a lot when he was in the 128, he is proving his talents though this weekend so far.
