The 32 participants who will compete for the title at the 2024 World Matchplay from July 13 to 21 have now been officially confirmed following the finale of Players Championship 14.
The World Matchplay seedings list is headed by reigning world champion Luke Humphries, who will be looking to further pad his ever-growing trophy cabinet. Michael van Gerwen can only meet Humphries in the final as the 35-year-old Dutchman is the number two seed.

They will be paired with a player who has qualified for the World Matchplay via the Pro Tour at the draw on Thursday, July 4.
Gary Anderson, Josh Rock, Ryan Searle, Martin Schindler, Gian van Veen, Luke Littler, Ricardo Pietreczko, Daryl Gurney, Ryan Joyce, Raymond van Barneveld, Brendan Dolan, Ritchie Edhouse, Krzysztof Ratajski, Luke Woodhouse, Andrew Gilding and James Wade secured a spot through the Pro Tour rankings.
