Peter Wright and Adrian Lewis will contest the next confirmed Quarter-Final at the International Darts Open in Riesa.
Wright was impressive in victory over Mensur Suljovic where he won 6-3 against the in-form Austrian. The fourth seed hit six 180's and a high checkout of 121 en route to a 6-3 win over 'The Gentle' to reach the Quarter-Finals.
'Snakebite' like many will sense his chance to win a title on the
European Tour this weekend with the absence of the likes of Michael van Gerwen.
Lewis on the other hand took advantage of multiple missed chances from Jonny Clayton to claim a 6-2 win over 'The Ferret'. Clayton suffered on the doubles hitting 2/9 and Lewis played well to claim the victory and set up another tantalising prospect for later.
