Wright wins battle of World Cup partners against Anderson, Cross and Durrant also through to Round Three

The second round of action at Players Championship 23 is complete with the likes of Peter Wright, Rob Cross and Glen Durrant all through in Barnsley.

Wright won the battle of the World Cup partners; with a 6-3 win over Gary Anderson with a 100 average. Cross saw off Michael Barnard in a 6-2 win to move through; while Durrant followed up a 103 average with a 100 average against Robert Owen.

Also through include the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price and Ian White; as the seeds continue to move through to the latter stages at the Metrodome.
