Xiaochen Zong underlined his dominance on the China ProTour again last weekend. The 28-year-old Chinese won all four tournaments on the schedule in Harbin. With his victories at Events 13 through 16, Zong also tightened his grip on top spot in the China ProTour ranking.

With four events to play, Zong has now banked 9,450 dollars in prize money. His lead over the field is almost 4,000 dollars. Zhan and Lihao Wen sit second and third in the standings respectively.
The impressive run began at Event 13. Zong dropped just four legs across his opening three matches and marched into the semi-finals. There, the reigning China Championship winner saw off Wen 5-3.
Xicheng Han awaited in the final. Zong saved his best display for the decisive moment and beat his compatriot 5-3 as well. The first title of the weekend was in the bag.

Zong survives tight battles

Event 14 proved tougher early on. After a 4-2 win over Pengyu Sun, he needed a last-leg decider against both Texi Fan and Zhiwei Lin.
Elimination especially loomed against Lin. Trailing 3-1, Zong flipped the match with three consecutive legs.

From there, the tension eased. He averaged over 90 in each of his last two matches. Han was brushed aside 5-0 in the semi-finals, before Zong beat Junlong Yin 5-1 in the final. He wrapped up Saturday with two titles from two events.

Four from four for Zong

Sunday brought no let-up in his winning streak. The China Premier League champion reeled off five more wins to take the title at Event 15. Along the way he needed a decider against Bin Zheng and defeated Jizhou Li. Zong was too strong for Yuyi Shao in the final, winning 5-2.
Event 16 offered a last chance to complete the perfect four from four. After a 91 average in his opener against Chenhui Pan, he had to dig deep again versus Zheng. Zong edged it in a decider, then took out Tong Xu to reach a fourth final of the weekend.
Tianxiao Cao looked set to halt the unbeaten run. Zong trailed 4-3 and could not afford another slip. The ranking leader struck once more at the key moment, taking two legs on the spin to clinch the final 5-4.

Zong thus completed a remarkable weekend with four titles from four tournaments. His season total now stands at eight titles in 2026. The final four China ProTour events will be played from 31.10.2026 to 02.11.2026. The China Championship follows, with the winner earning a spot at the PDC World Darts Championship in December.
