Yamada wins maiden PDC Asian Tour title with victory over Lim

Yuki Yamada has claimed a maiden PDC Asian Tour title with victory over Paul Lim in the second event of the weekend in Hong Kong and the tenth overall.

Yamada edged out Lim in a 5-4 victory; 'The Singapore Slinger' enjoyed yet another good run after claiming the title on Saturday and he showed that he is in great form.

The Japanese ace saw off Joe Fu Ki Ng and Kunimasa Makuuchi along the way with the likes of Haruki Muramatsu and Noel Malicdem also once again getting to the latter stages.

Lourence Ilagan who assured himself of a World Championship spot yesterday reached the Last 16 losing out to Yamada. Lim saw off the aforementioned Muramatsu as well as Kai Fan Leung en route to his final defeat.
