Nathan Aspinall claimed the win on Wednesday evening during the second ever PDC Darts at Home event. The Asp kept Jelle Klaasen behind him on leg difference.
The Stockport ace won two of his three matches. Aspinall started the tournament with a 5-3 victory over
Steve Beaton, before edging out
Stephen Bunting 5-4.
Klaasen beat the former UK Open champion 5-4 in their meeting, but lost 5-2 to Bunting. The latter had the chance to claim the group win in his last match against Beaton, but lost 5-2 to the Bronzed Adonis. As a result Beaton became third in the mini event and Bunting fourth.
The first edition of this event was held last week, with Devon Petersen
winning the group including also Luke Humphries, Chris Dobey, Matthew Edgar and Ted Evetts.
