The provisional field has been revealed for the Austrian Darts Championship 2019 which takes place on August 30-Sept 1 and sees the return of the European Tour after a short break.
It sees the first time that the event will be held and it sees it held at the Multiversum Schwechat in Vienna, Austria.
Mensur Suljovic who will of course be the home favourite will be in action and is number seven seed. Michael van Gerwen will aim to make it three titles in three weekends after two World Series triumphs when he returns to the
European Tour.
He will be number one seed as usual with Ian White and Gerwyn Price second and third respectively. Qualifier wise Corey Cadby, Cameron Menzies and Czech Darts Open champion, Jamie Hughes are all involved.
Dimitri van den Bergh, Vincent van der Voort and Jeffrey de Zwaan are among the European qualifiers with Cor Dekker and Adam Gawlas securing their spots recently through the East European and Nordic and Baltic qualifier.
West/South European Qualifiers and Host Nation Qualifiers will be sorted before the event begins on the Friday.
