Mensur Suljovic awaits the task to take on Fallon Sherrock on Saturday night in the second round at the PDC World Darts Championship.
The 25-year-old from Milton Keynes made history last Tuesday as she
became the first woman to win a match at the World Championship. Sherrock defeated Ted Evetts and created a media hype around the world. With Suljovic as her next opponent, she will face one of the best players in darts at the moment.
The Gentle realizes that Sherrock will have the audience on her side in Alexandra Palace. Evetts was whistled out and booed for almost the entire match while he is coming from England as well, unlike the Austrian ace.
''The audience will hundred percent choose her side and the spectators play a big role at the World Championship'', the Vienna star told ORF.at.
''But actually she has three darts, just like we do. You really have to play fully focused and focused against her, otherwise you lose hundred percent.''
For Sherrock it's a honour to play against the number eleven on the
PDC Order of Merit. ''Mensur is one of the best players in the world, so I'm looking forward to meet him. When the draw came out I really wanted to win my first game so I could play against him.''
