Michael van Gerwen has won another PDC title and remains unbeaten for 2019 with a 8-4 win over Jermaine Wattimena.

Van Gerwen averaged 109 in the end but was up in the 120+ range for the most part as Mighty Mike started the Pro Tour with a flawless run.

Both players started off well with Wattimena living with MVG for the most part but when he went 4-3 up with six perfect darts he coasted to the title.

He will be back on Sunday trying to claim a double for the weekend as he looks to extend his brilliant start to 2019.
