Michael van Gerwen is back to his ruthless best with victory over Jermaine Wattimena and will now face Gerwyn Price later in the Quarter-Finals.

Van Gerwen smashed in a 101 average only missing two darts at a double in the whole contest. As the defending champion, he will hope to move past a tough opponent next in Gerwyn Price on his way to reclaiming his crown.

Price edged out Krzysztof Ratajski in the second tie of the session with an average just below 90. It was an unpredictable match though with missed doubles being the major problem.

They missed 29 darts at double in a polar opposite to the Van Gerwen tie. He will need to improve this if MVG continues to be at his ruthless best.
