Horvat scoops maiden PDC Challenge Tour title with final win over Kist

The final Challenge Tour tournament of the weekend was won by Dragutin Horvat. He kept Christian Kist from sealing another title to end the two days of action in Hildesheim.

In doing so, the German prevented a third Dutch success this week, as Berry van Peer and Ron Meulenkamp had previously won titles. Horvat reached the final after victories over Brett Claydon (5-3), Wesley Plaisier (5-2), Cam Crabtree (5-3), John Henderson (5-2) and Kenny Neyens (5-3), among others. He was then too strong for Kist.

On this tour, reserve spots for the Pro Tour 2023 and Tour Cards for 2024 and 2025 can be earned. The highest-placed players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit qualify for the reserve spots on the Players Championships.
