"I’m not sure what happened": Price left puzzled by Premier League Darts final defeat to Van Gerwen

Gerwyn Price failed to win the Premier League Darts for the first time in his career. 'The Iceman' went down 11-5 against Michael van Gerwen in the final.

Price had impressed earlier in the evening, however, in his semi-final against Jonny Clayton.

“I couldn’t find anything, but that’s how it goes sometimes,” reflected Price.

“I felt like this is one that got away, because I’m playing some of the best darts I’ve ever played.“I was missing some targets by such a long way, I wasn’t even close. I’m not sure what happened, but congratulations to Michael.”
