Many expected Jules van Dongen to potentially go far at this year's 2022 WDF
Lakeside World Championship but his momentum was halted by
Ryan de Vreede who amid issues with production won through.
"First game was not good. Played a lot better today and I know there's a lot more in the tank and I'm looking forward to the next game," said the Dutchman to Tungsten Tales.
"As I said in the other interview, the first game is always hard and when you win that you are more confident.
On facing Van Dongen, he said the lack of level between the duo showed with De Vreede missing out only just on a Tour Card.
"He's a really good player, he won his Tour Card and I missed by Tour Card by one point. Difference between level is not that much and that's what I showed."
"If I play like I can, I know I can go all the way but I have to do it and that's the main thing."
