Ryan de Vreede has qualified for the second round of the WDF Lakeside World Championship. The 29-year-old Dutchman defeated the Italian, Francesco Raschini 2-1 in the opening round.
De Vreede was not completely satisfied afterwards. "I was not playing well the whole game and the 136 was a good moment. I was practicing 140, 140 and the first two sets I was struggling and last set was going a little better but it was still not okay I have to do better next game," said De Vreede to Tungsten Tales.
"The first game is always difficult if you play on the floor tournament or stage tournament, it's always difficult. If you win the first game, we'll see you next game."
Next up will be Jules van Dongen and he hopes to produce a better display. "I work full time and I practice after work but not every day. I know what I've done wrong now."
