Leonard Gates won a WDF tournament in the United States last weekend. 'Soulger' was the best at the St Patrick's Open in Missouri.
After wins over the likes of Jason Snodgrass (4-0) and Jake Southard (4-1), Gates was too strong for Danny Baggish (5-2) in the semi-finals. He then beat Dustin Holt in the final 6-4.
With this title, the American earned 45 points for the WDF ranking, on which he now occupies the 38th spot. After Danny Lauby Jnr. (sixth), he is the second American dart player on this ranking.
