Beau Greaves produced a superb display to see off Aileen de Graaf and reach her second semi-final at the 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship.
Greaves nearly didn't play at all and the 18-year-old was pleased to defy potential illness worries to move through.
"I'm over the moon to be honest. Practicing went a bit iffy but just to get on there, I knew I had to play better than my first game. I haven't seen the average but I played alright. Just to win and get into the semi's is just an amazing feeling," said Greaves to Tungsten Tales.
"I knew coming off the first game that I had to play better. I was nervous for the whole build up. I'm not bothered about averages but as long as I feel like I played well, that's the main thing."
In terms of drawing on her experience of previously playing a semi-final, she said she is a different player now.
"At the time when I played Mikuru I was a bit nervous and inexperienced. Whatever happens happens but I'll enjoy the experience and I'm sure I'll love it."
