The 2023 Dutch Open Darts is scheduled from Thursday 26 January to Sunday 29 January. The tournament in Assen is one of the top tournaments on the WDF calendar with 'platinum status'. That means there is a lot of prize money and WDF points to be earned for the players.
The winner of the men's tournament will receive 270 WDF points and a cheque for €5,000. The runner-up will receive 167 points and 2,500 euros. Prize money can be earned from the last 128, while WDF points are also awarded one round later.
In the ladies, the winner will receive €2,500 and the losing finalist €1,250. The distribution of WDF points in women's is the same as in men's. However, ladies can only earn prize money from the last 32.
