In the Welsh town Prestatyn, the WDF
Welsh Classic and
Welsh Open will be played from Friday to Sunday. During these tournaments players can collect points for the WDF-ranking, but also earn prize money.
On Friday the WDF Welsh Classic is on the programme. The winner of the men's tournament gets a cheque of £2,500, while the ladies compete for the top prize of £1,000.
The pairs events of the Welsh Open will be played on Saturday. The winning pair will receive £500 per team, while the top two women will split £400.
The biggest tournament of the weekend is the singles tournament of the WDF Welsh Open, which takes place on Sunday. The winner of the men's tournament will be awarded £4,000. The winner of the ladies tournament receives £2,000.
