The World Darts Federation (WDF) have confirmed further information surrounding the
World Masters weekend which also compiles the World Championship Qualifiers and WDF World Open held at Bonte Wever in Assen, the home of the Dutch Open between 8-12 December.
There will be two tournaments offering prize money of over €40,000 despite no breakdown currently being confirmed and also twelve places at the 2023 WDF World Championship over the three tournaments.
It will all begin on the Thursday with the group stages of the World Masters with the knockout stages set for the Friday 9 December alongside the WDF World Open Girls and Boys.
The Men's and Women's version will take place on Saturday 10 December, with the World Masters finishing on Sunday 11 December. The World Championship qualifiers will take place on Monday 12 December.
These World Championship qualifiers will see the top four men, two women, four boys and two girls qualify.
In terms of playing format, it will move from its initial set play to leg play with best of 7 until at least the Last 16 which is the same up until the semi-finals for the World Open. While TV rights have yet to be confirmed for the tournament.
