With the WDF World Darts Championship on the agenda in the coming weeks which will return to Lakeside, DartsNews continues to look back at some of the best moments and matches from the showpiece event.
Christian Kist shocked the darting world back in 2012 by winning the BDO World Championship. He was making his debut at Lakeside at the time.
After a nice opening win against Jan Dekker (3-2), Kist was too strong for Geert de Vos (4-2), Alan Norris (5-1) and Ted Hankey (6-5) to claim a place in the final. He then beat Tony O'Shea 7-5 to crown himself world champion.
