Darren Webster is through to the Quarter-Finals at the German Darts Championship after seeing off James Wade in a 6-5 victory.
Webster had to defy a 105 average and a nine darter from the Machine to claim a superb win.
In the end it was clinical darts from the Demolition Man at the right times that got him the win with a 101 average to boot.
It was close throughout with Wade potentially claiming the initiative in the later stages with a 104 checkout to force a decider but it was Webster who got through that.
He will face off against Ricky Evans in an all-English clash which is potentially seen as one of the best matches on paper this evening.
The Kettering ace performed well averaging 101.6 with five 180’s to reach only his second ever Quarter-Final on the European Tour.
