Number one seed Ian White moved into the third round at the Danish Darts Open as he saw off Martin Schindler after a leg-decider.
Schindler missed one match-dart on double 18 in the ninth leg, before White took out 76 to hold his throw. ‘The Diamond’ then broke the German in leg ten, before he hit a 71 checkout in the decider.
White will face Jermaine Wattimena in the third round on Sunday afternoon. The Dutch ace defeated Michael Smith 6-4 after breaking the world championship finalist in the tenth leg.
Defending champion Mensur Suljovic reached the last sixteen after edging out Gabriel Clemens. The Gentle produced a superb 14-dart leg in the decider to go through.
