German Darts Championship set to count towards World Grand Prix qualification

The World Grand Prix is the next big major tournament on the PDC calendar taking place in October and the PDC Autumn Series was due to be the cut off but this has now changed with the German Darts Championship in Hildesheim also counting towards qualification.

Taking place between September 25-27 in the original home of the PDC Autumn Series, it will include original qualifiers who confirmed their spot before the Coronavirus pandemic as well as two Host Nation Qualifiers and two Associate Member qualifiers.

Also the Gibraltar Darts Trophy last year which came just after the cut off in relation to the last World Grand Prix will remain on the rankings in relation to qualification.

A cut-off point has also been confirmed for the World Cup of Darts with it being announced to be confirmed following the World Grand Prix next month which will now be in Coventry at the Ricoh Arena.
