The World Series Order of Merit has been updated after the latest event in the form of the Brisbane Darts Masters which was won by Damon Heta.

Heta as a result joins Nathan Aspinall in claiming a title without playing in any other events so is into third place on the Order of Merit. ‘The Heat’ will likely add to that though with him competing in Melbourne and Hamilton as well and with 1 point being for participation, he will at least end up with 14 points, the same as Rob Cross has currently.

In addition, Peter Wright remains in first despite losing out to Kyle Anderson in the first round in Brisbane. In a mark of Michael van Gerwen’s form he is now down in ninth place despite appearing in every event so far.

Also, Daryl Gurney added to his total by getting to the latter stages and is only one point away from Aspinall and Heta. Gabriel Clemens is next having reached the final in Cologne.

By contrast Raymond van Barneveld is down in 14th place with 4 points but with him competing in further events, he will likely do enough to get his swansong continued in Amsterdam.
