Price unbeaten for 17 matches after third title within one week: 'In two years nobody will beat me'

Gerwyn Price claimed the World Series of Darts Finals title on Sunday night with a brilliant victory over Rob Cross where he had to make a superb comeback to win through.

Price said afterwards that he was 'proud' of the way he came back into the tie and he also set himself the goal of being unbeatable in two years.

“I was beating myself all the way through the game. I knew Rob would come out firing. Everyone I have played in the last few weeks have brought their A Game against me," said Price post match.

"From 8-4 down, I am proud I dug deep to win. I never give up anymore. I always believe when there is one leg left. I stuck in and dug deep.

"I am playing and practising well. I never give up. Who has to beat me has to play well and take my chances.

"I was winding up Gurney that in two years nobody will beat me. Now I am believing it."
