Michael van Gerwen is at 5/2 odds to win the World Series of Darts Finals as he aims to win a fifth title in the event this weekend at the Salzburgarena in Austria.
World Number One Van Gerwen, has won the event from 2015-2017 and last year on home soil in Amsterdam and sits as the favourite to claim the £70,000 title despite his recent form woes which saw him miss out on the Premier League play-offs.
He dispelled that with a title win at the recent PDC Autumn Series but the jury is still out albeit not with the title bookmakers Bwin who believe he will win this weekend
Peter Wright is 333/100 second favourite, while Gerwyn Price is 9/2 to continue his PDC Autumn Series form where he won two titles.
Dimitri van den Bergh is 40/1 to follow his World Matchplay triumph; but he will have to get past Glen Durrant who is at 18/1.
History maker Fallon Sherrock is at 37/20 to claim the title this weekend as she begins her campaign against Jeff Smith on Friday night.
