It is down to the final four at Players Championship 5 with another new winner set to come out of today’s proceedings.
Could it be Devon Petersen? The popular ‘African Warrior’ has been sublime all day and should his true fight and desire to win by coming from the brink against Rob Cross producing some brilliant darts to win through in a decider.
He will take on Peter Wright who has probably been the star of the day so far. He took care of Glen Durrant with relative ease claiming a 6-1 win against the Teesside ace with a 95 average.
Speaking of sublime, the two players in the other semi-final have also been brilliant today. Steve Lennon edged past Gabriel Clemens – the latter getting to yet another semi-final showing how good form he is.
He will now take on Gerwyn Price who saved one of the best performances of the day until the latter stages smashing in a 106.7 average to defeat William O’Connor 6-2.
