Adams recovers to defeat Jones and reach World Seniors Darts Masters Quarter-Finals

Martin Adams is into the Quarter-Finals of the World Seniors Darts Masters after seeing off Wayne Jones to conclude Saturday's afternoon session at Lakeside.

Adams last time he was in the iconic venue lost to Jarred Cole but will extend his stay without the added punditry and commentary he did at the WDF as he will face Tony O'Shea tomorrow.

But in doing so, he battled back against the Wanderer who was picked as a potential outsider to go on a run this weekend but he went 2-0 up before 'Wolfie' battled back to seal it 4-2 despite averaging just 79.

He was poor in the opening two sets losing them without reply as Jones pounced but despite a 25 dart leg, Adams sealed a set back which proved pivotal.

He swept the next set with two 180's in two legs before going 100, 125, 125 to seal the next one to really get back into the foray and the comeback was complete as he sealed the final set without reply to move through.
