The first events on the WSDT (World Seniors Darts Tour) Open Series took place this past weekend with
Richie Howson who leads the way on the Order of Merit sealing a title.
Howson who qualified for the inaugural World Seniors Darts Championship saw off Darren Johnson in the final of Event One with a 95 average in impressive form from 'The Owl'.
While the second tournament went the way of Mike Huntley defeating Paul Rowley in the final. As a result Howson leads Dave Prins, Colin McGarry and Johnny Haines in the Order of Merit with the leader taking a spot in the World Seniors Darts Masters.
