Howson and Huntley winners in first weekend of World Seniors Darts Tour Open Series action

The first events on the WSDT (World Seniors Darts Tour) Open Series took place this past weekend with Richie Howson who leads the way on the Order of Merit sealing a title.

Howson who qualified for the inaugural World Seniors Darts Championship saw off Darren Johnson in the final of Event One with a 95 average in impressive form from 'The Owl'.

While the second tournament went the way of Mike Huntley defeating Paul Rowley in the final. As a result Howson leads Dave Prins, Colin McGarry and Johnny Haines in the Order of Merit with the leader taking a spot in the World Seniors Darts Masters.
