Eight more players are vying for the final victory at the World Seniors Darts Matchplay in York, England. Sunday afternoon will be fought for a spot in the semifinals.
In the first match, Neil Duff and Richie Howson face each other. Duff was too strong for Robert Thornton in the first round, while Howson was responsible for eliminating Trina Gulliver.
Kevin Painter will play against Jim McEwan after his resounding victory over Deta Hedman. The latter won over Glen Durrant in the first round after a tiebreak on Saturday night.
The third match of the afternoon is between Leonard Gates and David Cameron. They triumphed against Colin McGarry and John Henderson in their first match. The final quarterfinal is a meeting between Phil Taylor and Paul Hogan. Taylor eliminated John Part on Saturday, while Hogan took the win against Scott Mitchell.

The World Seniors Darts Matchplay will be televised all weekend on TNT Sports. Elsewhere however, for a fee of £9.99, interested parties can watch the entire weekend via a live stream at www.247.tv/live/darts.
Price money
The World Seniors Darts Tour (WSDT), organizer of the World Seniors Darts Matchplay, announced that the winner of the event will receive £10,000. In addition, the winner will also go home with a trophy. Last year, the cup was won by Robert Thornton, who was too strong for Phil Taylor in the final 12-10.
