Saturday seeing the continuation of the
World Seniors Darts Masters as many of the darting legends begin their campaigns on the illustrious Lakeside stage with 'Tungsten Time' resuming.
Starting proceedings off is a three-time World Masters and a player who knows how to win on the Lakeside stage with four separate triumphs in Lisa Ashton facing a favourite in Frimley Green in 'Silverback' Tony O'Shea who was at the WDF World Championship last month as a pundit and was greeted as warm as ever.
Another player with an unwanted tag of being a darting nearly man is Terry Jenkins and he faces Richie Howson with 'The Owl' again looking to produce some upsets as one of the only players not to have played at Lakeside before.
Deta Hedman appeared at the Lakeside only last month on a stage that has never been a successful one as she was dumped out by Tori Kewish and she will hope that won't be the same when she faces a former World Master making his World Seniors debut in Colin Monk.
While
Martin Adams who also lost early on last month in the WDF to Jarred Cole will also hope for a better result after reaching the final of the World Seniors at the Circus Tavern, he will begin his campaign facing Wayne Jones.
Onto the evening session and
John Lowe will likely receive a superb reception when he faces 'McDanger' Les Wallace with the winner facing Phil Taylor.
Trina Gulliver who recently sealed a Women's Series title and has been returning to good form will face the winner of Jenkins and Howson.
Robert Thornton, the reigning World Seniors Champion faces David Cameron before
Bob Anderson and
Keith Deller collide in a battle of the World Champions.
