Jansen survives nail-biter against Van der Voort: 'Great to have the crowd on your side'

Danny Jansen has qualified for the second round of the Dutch Darts Championship. The 20 year old Dutchman was too strong for Vincent van der Voort in the first round with 6-5.

"The level was up and down for both Vincent and myself throughout the match", Jansen says to Darts Actueel. "But at 5-5 I fortunately managed to throw a very good leg that gave me the win."

Great crowd

Jansen won in Zwolle in a whirlwind atmosphere. "To have the crowd on your side like that is really great. They were chanting my name the whole time, which is a great pleasure. I will take this with me to the next round and I want to do it again against Michael Smith.
