Phil Taylor will again reignite one of his rivalries from yesteryear as the
World Seniors Darts Championship resumes this evening at the Circus Tavern.
The Quarter-Final line-up is confirmed with eight players left standing to battle it out for the stunning trophy and to become inaugural champion.
Taylor faces
Kevin Painter third on in a repeat of their 2004 final but will 'The Artist' shut down 'The Power' after some impressive displays so far.
On the other hand, the 16-time World Champion had to come from a set down to defeat Peter Manley and will hope for a better display.
Starting the night are two players who have already played on the stage today in John Walton and Terry Jenkins.
'John Boy' has improved over his two games and eased past John Part 3-1 earlier today, while Jenkins survived a late comeback from Lisa Ashton in an otherwise impressive display.
Following that is Dave Prins, the last remaining qualifier facing Robert Thornton in a battle of two of the best players so far in the tournament.
As well as Taylor-Painter, there is the small matter of the finishing maestro
Martin Adams returning to the oche to pick up from where he left off against Larry Butler who was embroiled against Keith Deller earlier today.
