The 2022
World Seniors Darts Championship is edging closer to being concluded with the afternoon session at the Circus Tavern seeing the semi-finals take place.
Four players remain in the reckoning in Purfleet and the first semi-final sees in many people's minds, the two remaining favourites involved.
Kevin Painter dumped out Phil Taylor on Saturday night for a small measure of revenge for 31 straight defeats and that revenge could see him head towards lifting the trophy this evening.
He will next have Robert Thornton though in his sights who has been nothing short of sublime at times not losing a set and has shown his recent match sharpness has been a help and not a hinderence.
Martin Adams was incredible on his finishing against Richie Howson and came back well to see off Larry Butler after nearly going 2-0 down. He faces Terry Jenkins who at times has been great and other times has rode his luck in terms of his performances.
As a result, it could be a tie which sees Adams punish this or will go all the way to a decider. The winners will then face off in tonight's final.
Sunday 6 February (1pm)
