A slew of draws in Birmingham means the Premier League Darts table has barely registered a change.
Indeed, all eight players are in the same position as they were in before the night’s play. However, two Premier League Darts 2019 seasons look pretty much wrapped up. Six points adrift of fourth, and with six points left to play for, Michael Smith and Peter Wright are now all but out of contention.
A draw for Smith, coupled with Wright’s defeat to Daryl Gurney, means the pair are level at the bottom of the table on nine points. Gurney remains sixth, but is just a point off the play-offs thanks to his 8-4 success.
All of the top five drew, and so they edge themselves forward by one point apiece. That means that James Wade, Gerwyn Price and Mensur Suljovic remain gridlocked in their play-off tussle.
Meanwhile, Rob Cross’ 18 points puts him second, one point adrift of table-topper Michael van Gerwen.
