MODUS Super Series will broadcast first edition of ADC Global Championship

The Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC) is hosting a new event in December 2024 in conjunction with the MODUS Super Series. In the first edition of the ADC Global Championship, 24 players will compete for the top prize of 25,000 pounds.
The event will take place from Monday, December 9 to Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the MODUS Live Lounge in Portsmouth and will be broadcast live on the MODUS Super Series YouTube channel.
Taking part in the event will be the best ranked ADC players from various ranking systems, including the top two from the Women's ADC (WADC) Tour. The top four ADC players from the UK Ranking will be joined by the top four UK Winmau Tour players. In addition, the number one ranked player from Southern Europe, Belgium, Eastern Europe, the Netherlands and Scandinavia will be joined by the Benelux Open champion.
Further places will be filled through qualifying tournaments in Oceania, South Africa, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, northern Great Britain, southern Great Britain and a senior darts qualifier.
The event follows the format of the MODUS Super Series. In that event, 12 players compete weekly for a spot in the weekly finals, which take place each Saturday night. Of the six players who reach each final night, the four semifinalists advance to the Grand Finals on Sunday, Dec. 22.
A prize pool of 55,000 pounds has been made available for the Grand Finals, 25,000 of which will go to the winner. There is also a £1,000 bonus for any player who throws a nine darter during the Grand Finals.
The quarterfinals of the ADC Global Championship are played over a format of best of 11 legs, while the semifinals are over best of 13 legs. The finals will be decided over best of 17 legs.
