Stephen Bunting hits nine-dart finish during Players Championship 11

Stephen Bunting threw a nine-dart finish at Players Championship 11 on Tuesday. He hit it in the second leg of his match against Robbie Knops.

Bunting faced the Belgian in the first round of the 11th Players Championship tournament of the season. After 'The Bullet' broke his opponent in the first leg, he started the second leg with two 180 scores. Bunting then completed his perfect leg with a 141 finish. In the end, the Englishman won the match 6-4.

It was his third nine-darter on the PDC Tour for Bunting. His first perfect leg was at a Euro Tour qualifying tournament in 2018. In 2021, the reigning Masters champion also managed to throw a nine-darter at a Players Championship tournament.
