Ashton reflects after whitewash win over Jacklin: "I was just happy to get the result"

Ashton spoke afterwards and said that it doesn't matter about the margin of the win, just that she got it.

'The Lancashire Rose' also praised Beau Greaves calling her 'fantastic'; as well as saying that the tournament is very much anyone's to win this year.

"I was just happy to get the result. I just played every leg as it was and played my game and I'm happy," said Ashton to BDO Darts.

"It's a new venue, you've just got to settle in and then focus on the next game."

"She played brilliant, we're used to her on the circuit now but she's done fantastic," added Ashton on Beau Greaves.

"It's wide open, Beau's playing well, Mikuru (Suzuki)'s playing well, Anastasia (Dobromyslova)'s playing well. We've still got Lorraine (Winstanley) and Casey (Gallagher) to play so we don't know how they're playing. Anyone can take this tournament so we've got to be on our game."
