Mitchell full of praise for Bennett after second round victory: "It's incredible how good he is at such a young age"

Scott Mitchell came through a tough test against Leighton Bennett 3-1 in sets to move into the third round at the 2020 BDO World Championship.
Despite that, Mitchell spoke of his nerves of playing the young prospect and was full of praise for 'Boom Boom' admitting that it is incredible how good he is at his age.
"You should feel my heart beating. I was so nervous about this match. When I saw him return to 2-1 I was by no means reassured, luckily I could still finish it. ”
"Scotty Dog" was full of praise for his opponent who only turned 14 on New Years Eve: “Leighton did not play at all as someone of 14, rather as someone of 30. It's incredible how good he is at such a young age. Fortunately I was able to beat him today, within a few years that may not happen. "

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
