The quarter-finals are set not only at he Players Championship in Wigan but also at the BDO Denmark Open with one of the ties of the round being Mark McGeeney vs. Justin van Tergouw; a match pitting the World finalist vs the Youth World Champion.
Also on the mens' side the likes of recent Development Tour winner Wessel Nijman facing Wouter Vaes. Also Wesley Harms and Jim Williams are still involved as the BDO Denmark Open reaches its' conclusion.
A lot of big names are still involved on the women's side of the competition with Corrine Hammond, Trina Gulliver, Aileen de Graaf and Fallon Sherrock all still in action. In addition, dangerous players such as Sharon Prins and Maria O'Brien are also still in action.
