With the BDO World Darts Championship not taking place for the first time this month due to the demise of the organisation, DartsNews takes a look back at some of the best moments and matches from over the years.
Onto 1989 and another final between two darting greats in Eric Bristow and Jocky Wilson.
Wilson had defeated defending champion Bob Anderson and Bristow had seen off John Lowe in the semi-finals.
The Scot raced into a five sets to nil lead but Bristow took the next four to set up a tense conclusion however Wilson got over the line 6-4 to claim his second and final World title.
