Williams, O'Shea and Cameron share points on Remote Darts League Night Four
After three previous nights of the Remote Darts League being marked by clean sweeps for James Richardson, Justin Thompson and Paul Hogan, it was a different story on Night Four.
Jim Williams, John O'Shea and David Cameron while not getting beaten at all all claimed one win and two draws throughout the night in their series. They all shared the spoils in their respective ties with all players defeating Stacey Pace .
Pace and Cameron began the night but she was blighted by only hitting three scores over 100 in a whitewash defeat. She claimed a leg against Williams to begin their tie but in her final game against O'Shea, the American wasn't given a shot at a double throughout the whole game and a second whitewash was forthcoming.
O'Shea in particular could have had a very different evening. He claimed the first breaks against both Williams and Cameron and even had a 4-0 lead over the latter but both mounted successful comebacks against the World Master to collect points albeit not wins.
In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
