Winstanley reflects after finishing Remote Darts League campaign: "The challenge I struggled with with this is the online thing and not having my opponent in front of me"

Lorraine Winstanley ended her Remote Darts League campaign well claiming a clean sweep on Ladies Night which featured not only the World Master, but Laura Turner, Stacey Pace and Tina Osborne.

Winstanley reflected after finishing 13th place in the second iteration of the Remote Darts League and said that playing online and not having her opponent in front of her was the main issue.

“I can normally rise to the challenge, but the challenge I struggled with with this is the online thing and not having my opponent in front of me,” Winstanley said.

“I wish that, in hindsight, if I could rewind, I would have played more games online to get that practise in.”

Stacey Pace also spoke after finishing her campaign second bottom with one win from her 15 games, she joked: “I want a re-do."

“I wish that I could take everything I’ve learned, all the nerves and the getting used to playing darts online, and start over.

“It was such a great experience, I would never get this sort of opportunity to play such amazing talents, especially the women!”
